Since moving to Windsor, I have become a board member for the Essex-Kent Chapter of Cystic Fibrosis Canada and am the event chair for the Great Strides walk.
Since moving to Windsor, I have become a board member for the Essex-Kent Chapter of Cystic Fibrosis Canada and am the event chair for the Great Strides walk.
Cystic fibrosis is the most common fatal genetic disease affecting Canadian children and young adults. There is no cure. Cystic Fibrosis is a multi-system disease, primarily affecting the lungs and digestive system.
Cystic Fibrosis Canada raises funds to help find a cure and to help support people living with cystic fibrosis.
Please consider helping out and supporting the upcoming events. I have attached posters which you use to help spread the work.
Friday May 3rd is Crazy Sock Day.
It's time to pull up your socks and raise a few bucks (and some eyebrows)
Every year community members across Canada lace up their shoes and walk the Great Strides™ Walk for Cystic Fibrosis Canada supporting people in their community and their families affected by Cystic Fibrosis.

To help support Cystic Fibrosis Canada- Essex Kent Chapter we are asking you to join in and help raise funds to support the Great Strides Campaign. We have designated Friday May 3rd as Crazy Sock Day for a cure.Get your office, team or group involved. Have everyone wear some bright, colourful crazy socks Express yourself & "Wear a Pair" on Friday May 3rd and donate $2 to Cystic Fibrosis. Help to find a cure. So decorate your paws for a terrific cause.
Saturday May 4th is a Pancake fundraising breakfast at AppleBees on Walker Road- come out for breakfast and support the Great Strides Walk.
May 26th is the Great Strides Walk- come on out and Walk to support Cystic Fibrosis Canada
